I have read every post. I have the following thoughts, and some folks might be offended.
1 People frequently refer to "Engeneers" having designed TCs. I gotta ask, has anyone seen one the documentation to support any TC manufacture having an engineer approving the drawings on any TC? If so, are the approved drawings available?
2 I really do not see where anyone posting has really demonstrated to me, they understand what the fix would be.
3 I see the fix as being very simple, but hesitate to post it for fear of removing the drama.
4 I am amazed at some of the post, and wonder what the background of the poster is.
5 I see the repair as a simple fix, based on the photo joeshmoe posted.
6 I am frequently reminded as to what many believe the tie downs do, and how they do it. It has been explained many times, but couch engineers want to argue based on their belief system.
I will probably get flack for this post, but I think it is really being pushed out in la-la land. It is not my intent to downplay the issue, but I really do not place the entire fault on the WC. Actually, I tend to believe the tie downs were improperly adjusted.
