- Bob__BExplorerIf they are on a swing out bracket, the bolts may have just got loose. I had one of mine move after a long trip and the bolts to the brackets had just gotten loose. I got the weight off them loosened up all bolts and got it straight and then put thread lock on the bolts and tightened back down......Loosened up the bolts on the other front jack one at a time and put thread lock on the bolts and tightened back down.
I wouldn't use the red thread lock unless you want to use an impact driver to get them off if needed .... I used the blue.
You need to determine if the brackets on the camper have moved or not ....snug up those bolts even if the bracket hasn't moved. - SidecarFlipExplorer IIISounds to me like your brackets are loose or the frame under the skin has become punky (water intrusion) and cannot secure the brackets vertically anymore, or, the lag bolts have lost their grip in the frame.
The above conditions will apply depending on the age of the unit and how well you maintained it.
I'd put a carpenters level on the legs first and see how out of plumb they are first before attempting to tighten the lag screws and then loosen them, align the legs and see if they will tighten down.
If they won't you have other ongoing issues under the outer skin.
On my TC (which isn't a Lance), the legs are secured at the bottom and top and the bottom securing clamp is adjustable (slotted) for alignment purposes. Not sure about your setup. - Artum_SnowbirdExplorerIf there is movement when you solidly reef on them when on the truck, then you have to rebuild the front corners.
Other than that, I used a file to put slots into the mounting brackets so that the top was out further.
Drive the truck onto blocks or ramps with the camper on so you can fully extend the jacks. Use a plumb bob from the jack body to the foot retracted and then measure the difference how much you are off at full extension. You have to do both sides this way at the same time, but it will give you the measurements you need and you can use this for back to front or sideways plumbing to get them perfect.
You have to do all four jacks and record the measurements for each jack to make sure you seeing something different on the front jacks compared to the back as the truck might be off level.
