Audi wants to make Petrol(Gas), from Water, CO2. Sunlight

Now I posted prior that they are looking at Synthetic Diesel, but this is Synthetic Petrol(Gas) Two promising avenues of study are pointing to a future of off-set fuels for internal-combustion engin...

That would be per Imperial gallon which is 4.54 liters, compared to the US gallon which is 3.78 liters.

Still, that's about 50 miles to the US gallon. Not bad.
