The problem I see with bio-derived fuels is twofold. One, it seems to take more energy to produce the fuel overall than what the fuel delivers, and two, any mass production of biomass to make fuel takes away from our ecosystem's ability to produce biomass for food. We can't eat oil, so we may as well use it until it's gone. It is a good thing to research these alternate methods of fuel production but I don't see them as being practical anytime soon.
They will not be using Biomass to make both types,, they did initially for the Petrol version, but it will be produced like the Diesel
