Some places do not have diesel, but here in NY at least in the rural towns most stations do have it. Our station here in town ~4000 population has both a taxed pump and an red off road pump. They also have 9 gas pumps. We are 30 miles from the nearest interstate. Finding diesel is not a problem here.
