I'm thinking about upgrading my 47RE transmission. I have nearly 150,000 miles on my stock tranny and it's starting to make noise in overdrive, so I'm thinking about replacing it with an upgraded one ...

It has a after market transmission that painted purple so not sure what aftermarket brand it is, but so far it's held up pretty good towing some serious loads that I'm sure would have burned up a factory one.
If it was purple, then it was more then likely an ATS Performance transmission.
