Autonomous vehicles and towing

Autonomous vehicles seem to be the vehicle of the future.

Do you embrace the concept of having an autonomous vehicle tow your RV for you ?

Wonder what the pros and cons will be for autonomous tow vehicles ?

I wonder what will happen WHEN someone makes a virus to take over control of the car(s). Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

Rather than a virus, hackers will create a new video game, real world bumper cars. Terrorist will have a new way to cause mass casualties without risking their own lives.

You mean having vehicles that actually follow the speed limit? And likewise keeps up with traffic? Adjust to a proper following distance? Actually stop at a stop sign and behind the limit line or crosswalk? Uses a turn signal every time? Looks for the open space when merging? Gets in the proper lane early to make the next turn or exit? Limits lane changes and passing on the right?

Tons of improvements to me made on humans driving. Perhaps we could start with an annoying alarm when the driver is doing something stupid.

Hypothetically speaking, I would call that the DW. ;)

I'm all for better technology but just because you can, doesn't always mean you should.
I'd rather they gave me better technology and safety and still let me drive rather than me put my hands up and let go of the wheel. I would love to see better at night so where's my near infrared vision or heads up display?
