Aux fuel (diesel) tank with pump NOT in bed?
I found couple of aux tanks with a built-in pump that sits in the bed, but not under the truck. Does such setup exist? Basically, I'm looking at a scenario where I can carry some extra fuel for bot...

Yes, this is a strange requirement... :)
contact these people at Areo Tank, I had a 40 gal. diesel tank installed by these people with a separate fuel pump.
