Titan has a spare tire tank
Another problem with that tank is it sits behind the rear axle and the leverage thus affects the truck's weight distribution more then a midships mounted tank would. 30 gallons of diesel = 225 pounds hanging back there and acts as if there was tongue weight.
This is true to some extent but I find it minimal . Cab/chassis trucks usually have a factory second tank in this location . It is immediately behind the rear axle and well within the COG zone of most trucks . A hitch extension is usually 4 to 5 ft. behind the rear axle with a camper on . You do have to relocate the spare but many do that anyway because it is often difficult to access with a TC loaded . If the spare is located to a front mount it offsets some of the tank weight .
