We had a 55 gallon inbed tank built to fit between our tool box and the awesome air hitch when our truck was new. You will really enjoy what the extra fuel gives you. At the rear of our truck bed is a V-box so it is for towing only.
I agree why a short box but some like short trucks for different reasons.
