Ave 2500 only came with the 8.1L. Given the gearing of the 4-spd trans of that generation, I would not recommend the 6.0L. Also, the tow rating of the 2500 Burb 6.0L/3.73 is in the 7500 pound range. 4.10 bumps to about 9500. 8.1L is 10.5k/12k for 3.73/4.10.
