Avalanche/Suburban 2500 with 8.1 towing mpg

I bought an Avalanche sight unseen out of Baltimore only to discover all the rust underneath, leaking brakelines, missing spare tire, severely oxidized paint on the hood, etc. Stuff that doesn't show up in pics. It was a Chevy dealer and they described it as in fantastic shape blah blah blah.....
If I weren't a guy who's bought about 40 cars since being married in 94 and being burned on more than I can count where I drove out of my way to see them, I might have considered driving a long ways. I've learned if it's a good vehicle priced right, it will sell locally and quickly.
I did find a 01 2500 6.0 burb about 70 miles away, but he's had it since like last summer or so. Only has 120k ish miles $7495.
