Avalanche/Suburban 2500 with 8.1 towing mpg

Looked at a V10 Excursion one time and decided to keep my Suburban Big Block
One look at the rear cylinder plugs instantly told me I'd never like
working on that.
Also, some can work on the engine without lifting the body off, but
most follow the shop manual and take off the body to do any major V10
engine work
Am a GM person, but not blindly loyal and say GM has plenty of their
own induced problems....not OEM is immune...even those foreign badges...
