- Ed_GeeExplorer IIA cold navy shower....one gallon for me. Wait for warm.....maybe closer to two gallons. I calibrated our visible fresh water tank so it is super easy to measure water consumption and also how much is left.
- GreydennyhawkExplorerIf you only use cold water, I can git-r-dun in like , 3 minutes!
- bobndotExplorer IILast year it was 4 gals but due to a weight gain , its now 5 gals. :)
- azrvingExplorerOurs is also about 2 qts before it's hot. That water goes in the berkey filter. Our showers use 2 to 3 gallons.
- TrackrigExplorer IINo, but I do "measure" the amount of water that comes out before the water is hot enough for a shower..........
When water and sewer isn't available, I hold a 2 qt pitcher under the shower faucet and then use the water for cooking. It just about fills the pitcher with the 2 qts before things get hot.
That's one way to reduce your shower water.
