Well, they started making towables for the US market starting last year after purchasing the Sunnybrook RV company. I'd tend to think that they've done something similiar in Austrailia, assuming that they have a manufacturing site there for motor homes. We just purchased a Winnie 2201DS trailer and from our first inspection, it looks like it will be a very nice unit...can't wait to pick it up next week!
No relation whatsoever to the US Winnebago. They had just had a court battle over the use of the Winnebago name with Winnebago Industries US.. They changed their name to AVIDA but can add "The Maker of the Australian Winnebago." Long legal tussle between the two companies.
