Daughter and son-in-law picked up a really nice, and well cared for, 1995 Nash 22H travel trailer from my sister-in-law. The awning was replaced about 2 years ago, but was never used until this year....

Good morning Lyle,
I used this awning repair tape
on my trailers awning to repair a very similar ding. It held up for 7 years and was still going strong when I replaced the whole awning a couple of years ago.
I think any of the awning repair tapes will do the job.
