Awning cover

I recently purchased a Micro Minnie and love it! It is stored outside and I am concerned that the Arizona sun is going to eat thru the top of the awning. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to protect the awning?

  • Thanks everyone for your replies. I think I will give the awning pro-tech a try. I just joined this forum. So glad I did.
  • Some here, myself included, used a couple strips of 4" wide Eternabond tape for the top section of the awning. Mine's been that way for 5 or 6 years now and continues to work well.
  • I use Awning Pro-Tech which can be left installed while traveling. Good to protect the fabric from low hanging tree branches. The cover does leave a sliver of fabric exposed to the sun, so instead some folks use a plastic rain gutter to completely cover the awning, however it must be removed when traveling.
I now use a trailer cover when stored at home so it’s fully protected.
