I really like getting the power from the fridge 12V. That method works out really well for us if we chose that way. I also bought a 16' extension cable that goes between the light strip and the control box so I could theoretically run from the light strip down the fridge roof vent in behind the fridge. This would mean I wouldn't need the junction box at all.
Does anyone see any problems with running the lights this way? I'm a little leery about splicing into the fridge 12V line. What is the 12V fridge line actually doing?
