Awning on slide-out binds

Hello,

First time posting on the forum though visited for some time. I'm having a problem with the NTU 2006 Pilgrim. The awning binds when we try to open the slide-out. Already broke one set of brackets and replaced them. Followed the directions to set tension. seems to be binding on edge of slide out. Any suggestions?
