We winter in the Florida keys in the state parks for five months every year.
All I do is check the weather forecast for each day. I check how hard the wind will be blowing and what direction and either keep it down or up according to that.
If it is "iffy" I just keep it rolled up
In fifteen years of RV'ing I have seen too many ruined ones on peoples Rv's who don't pay attention to the wind
