Electric awnings are a different subject, mines in/out all the time at the beach.

Even my first statement I made earlier, the only concern I have is pulling from the seams which can be mitigated by clamps.
I am at Ft. Desoto every year and get the occasional thunderstorms and here in KY we get good wind. Just have to use wisdom when using it. Like someone said before I paid for it, I want to use it. I have been in strong winds but not too concerned in the anchors being compromised.
