ALL, What a great discussion and speculation. BTW, when I was at Lance a good number of years ago they drilled holes in all the door bottoms, they knew of the issue.
upon further investigation I suspect the door leaking to be the issue in the case. We will not fully know until the TC gets stripped of all it outside coverings...and that at this point is 4 to 6 months away. Another issue that I am sure has contributed to the wet mess is that the draining water from the roof goes out the short spout and flows directly onto the top of the flat jack motor cover and splashes in all directions (like the flatrock story) thus keeping that area of the back wet...I live in the PNW! That short spout will be changed and the side awning will be moved forward about 3" this will allow the draining roof a better flow pattern.
BTW, that outside hatch is being eliminated as I will access the space from the interior.
