We have gone from tent to travel trailer to pop up trailer to toy hauler to truck camper. Right now, the truck camper has proved to be the most versatile RV for us. We do feel cramped for space when the weather turns bad, but that can solved in the future with a larger TC. When we choose the next TC, we will have a truck that will open up these models to us. That will allow us to choose a triple slide model with taller floor (lower bed height and more basement) and side door. We like the fact that the TC can be removed or stay on the truck based on where we camp and that the truck has sufficient power to haul just the TC or big enclosed trailer behind it.
