I have a Pace Edwards Full Metal Jackrabbit roll cover. Similar to the Roll and Lock. But mine is on a long bed. The cover is all metal rather than vinyl covered. Very strong. Had over two inches of ice/sleet on it last year and no damage.
This is my second. On my first on my previous truck I caught my 6 yr old nephew jumping on it like a trampoline. No damage to that one either.
