Believe it or not, backing a trailer that's towed on the ball is the most challenging configuration, especially when the distance from ball to axle is short (fellow science and engineer nerds can work that demonstration out on paper quickly!). Be patient and practice, practice, and practice! You will get better! Be ok if you are never that camper that glides his or her trailer with surgical precision between the electrical box and that oh-so-close tree with such ease that you swear the seamless navigation was conducted like a concerto! We really don't judge if it takes you 10 tries (unless it's the middle of the night!), and fellow campers are always willing to help! Also, there is NO SHAME in having to unhitch, change the approach of your tow vehicle, and re-hitch if you simply cannot work out the angle you need with your camper attached.
