X's 2. I learned this method from an old time trucker many years ago and use it to this day. It's a no-brainer after trying it a few times. I backup down a driveway about 1000' to a barn and use this method flawlessly and also use it for backing into driveway, campsites, etc. Try it! I'm not quite sure what the scoop method is? Good luck!
