if you live anywhere near Tucson, send me a PM, and I'll come help you with some lessons. There are some great tips above. But if you get to a campground and just can't get it, don't hesitate to ask us seasoned veterans for some help. For the price of a cold drink, we'll gladly help you, give you a tip or two, and maybe you'll make some new friends.

Well, Florida is nowhere near Tucson, but Jim is right: don't cancel, GO. You will find that other campers will be more than happy to assist you. We're good about taking care of our own. About the third time you try and get in trouble, there will be several experts right there to help you. You'll meet new friends that way faster than you can imagine.
To be sure, mastering backing a trailer, especially a short one, takes lots of practice. But I guarantee you'll be experts by mid-summer. Probably much sooner, depending on how often you go camping.
Welcome to the campgrounds and we'll keep an eye out for ya.
