Backing with stabilizers
I have heard that you cannot back with stabilizers on. I expect no sharp turns but doesn't seem reasonable not to be able to back with them on. What's the truth?

I always disconnect my weight distribution bars and trailer brakes before backing into a site or the driveway. It does make it easier for me and I have broken a chain on a bar after making a few really tight turns in a row (driving forward). There's no reason to put extra stress on components while moving at a snails pace in the campground.
