on our 5er we have rear kitchen with cabinets. I mounted camera just below the running lights. the wiring was in the top cabinet. I ran the camera wiring over to side and then down to bottom of coach. followed the frame to the front of 5er. ran another cable under truck to engine compartment and found a hole in firewall to run cable to inside of truck.
to mount the camera, I did not want it on the window
I have a Ram and it has a little pull out drawer. I purchased a piece of clear plastic from tap plastic and set it on the drawer. works perfect
