Yes, balance the tires is my suggestion. Imbalance will introduce additional vibration at the resonant speed and you don't want any more vibrations than necessary shaking the TT loose.
As for lug nut torque ... see your manual and if lacking then 100 ft.lbs measured by a torque wrench is good.
