the mixing of fecal matter and food prep is usually the reason you have 100s of folks getting sick on cruise ships.
Personal hygiene should always be done in a separate area from food prep.
Yes I was a chef, and yes as an EMT I get to transport those with poor hygiene practices to the hospital and then have the pleasure of deconing my rig afterwards
I like having that bathroom sink, but you can do what ever you want to yours, just don't be surprised if you go visit a fellow RV.Netter in their TC that they make you use waterless hand sanitizer before entering.:B
