Our trailer is in use in warm climates during the winter. However our boat remains in cold Ontario.
For the past 38 years I have looked after the batteries by fully charging them late Oct early Nov and then disconnect ALL loads. In the spring in Apr put a charger on them to bring them back to full charge.
In cold weather with no load batteries are fine all winter load left in place.
