Now to figure out the fan on the hood ...
I already provided you with the answer - a PWM voltage controller, available on eBay, Amazon, etc.
Do us all a favour and reduce the size of that pic you posted which is currently so large it forces us to scroll to read text. Go into your link and add "width=450" or some similar number just after .jpg Thanks! :)
Got the image width fixed, forgot about that on this forum. Sorry ;)
A PWM would slow down the fan to reduce the noise. I didn't ignore the suggestion, rather I was hoping to find a quieter and more efficient replacement fan that I could adjust the speed with PWM. I want it ALL! LOL.
If I can't find something reasonable, I might add a couple of muffin fans against the exhaust opening, with Low-Med-High being 1 on, 2 on, 3 on. It will draw the air, no need to push it.
I've seen where a 172mm axial seems to adapt easily, but they are $50- $100 (!)
Coffee maker puts out lots of moisture. We always use the hood fan to vent outside when making coffee.
Make sense?
