It was easy to install. It fit the existing hole well. I dont remember each step of the way but I cut it apart and basically drilled holes for the new fan. The old fan was very noisy and seemed to pull too much air as it affected the burner. This new fan is still strong enough to blow the plastic flapper out most of the way. It may put out less air but the noise difference is well worth it. It pulls about 300 ma. Iirc there was an inner plastic flapper which I removed. Not positive about some of this as it's been awhile.
I also thank landyacht again for this fan suggestion. He knows a lot about fans etc
The screw heads look slightly tilted because of
having to tweak it to fit. I think I used a little silicone to close the gaps.
