Battery Ground in TC
My battery sits in a box next to the bed of the truck should I add a ground wire to the truck box or is the whole system grounded with the tiedowns and 7 pin plug. I appreciate any help.

Difficult to answer without knowing how the battery is wired. Since you mentioned a 7-pin plug the camper is probably electrically grounded to the truck when plugged in. But I wouldn't want to count on that ground as the only return to the battery unless the 7-pin plug is the only battery connection to the camper. If you have equal sized leads from the + and - battery terminals feeding into the distribution panel in the camper, you shouldn't need a separate ground from the frame mounted battery to the truck unless you're also using this as a starter battery.
