So, we corrected the issue and the battery is properly connected now. However, I still don't think we are getting enough use out of the battery. We went camping with no hookups over labor day weekend and had some issues. I thought I discovered what was draining the battery so I did a mock camping trip at home and recreated the events from the weekend.
1. Fully charged the battery
2. Disconnected shore power and raised/lowered jack 3-5 times
3. Turned fridge on propane (after it had already been brought to temp via shore power)
4. Turned on water pump and used water for a total of 10-20 min.
5. Had a few LED lights on for a total of about 20 min.
6. Extended/retracted electric awning.
After doing this, in roughly 18-20 hours, the CO alarm was beeping fault/low voltage (just like it did over our labor day camping trip). The CO alarm is hard wired so we can't stop the extremely loud beeping therefor have to disconnect the battery and use nothing. I don't have much experience RVing but I think with such minimal use we should be getting more than 20 hours out of a battery. I don't know much about batteries/electric but how would I go about determining if there is something wrong with my battery?
