Next time it goes off, use a reasonably accurate meter to check the voltage at the battery when no large loads are on.
I said it before, but wiring it so it's closer to the battery may make it work more reasonably. Or, it may just be defective. You need to measure the actual voltage at the battery to tell.
I didn't know it had a voltage calibration. As I said before, this is all new to me and I'm not familiar with how these components work yet. I will try to get a voltmeter and measure the battery to troubleshoot this. I'm not sure I'm qualified to rewire it closer to the battery.
