Which is the best option for keeping batteries charged? My daughter just bought a battery tender for her motorcycle...I had never heard of it. We have a trickle charger that we have used for the truck...

I use a battery tender on 5 group 27 batteries for 7 months. I used a timer and only run it 2 or 3 hours a day.
