Which is the best option for keeping batteries charged? My daughter just bought a battery tender for her motorcycle...I had never heard of it. We have a trickle charger that we have used for the truck...

Batteries can simply be unhooked for a time and retain a charge. AGMs hold a longer time than acids. I have AGMs that retain 12.7 for months.
