I noticed the truck with the lowest rear ratio climbed the fastest...
If the transmission gear ratios and tire sizes are considered did they then have the same final drive overall gear reduction?
Do they all have the same governed engine rpm?
Do they all have the same power output?
What was the fuel rate?
Do they have headlights you can level without tools?
Because Ford offered a better ratio for climbing the hill if that's what made the difference. GM and Ram didn't. That's how competition works. Ford won with a factory equipped truck. I'd brag too if I were Ford. And you want to "handicap" the Ford so the GM and Ram can keep up? What's fair about that?
