Bauer Touch Pad entry door lock for TC

I decided to upgrade my entry door lock. I looked at these for quite some time and held off since they are a little pricey. Took about 20 minutes to install. Basicly its a "plug and play" application. I think its going to be a very nice addition. My wife loves it. Its very nice when you are at the TC and need to get in, but dont have the door key handy.
After unpacking it is easy to see the overall build quality. The lock is very well made and not a piece of junk. It comes with all the necessary screws and hardware to complete the installation. It uses 4 AA batteries (not included) and you also get 2 bypass keys in the event the lock would fail. The lock has a series of beeps built into it, one being a warning as to when to change out the batteries. Overall I am very impressed with it. Its made by Bauer and sold thru various vendors, including Ebay and Amazon. There are a few Youtube videos also showing an actual install. If you ever purchase one, make sure you get the proper one for however your entrance door is hinged. If your door is hinged on the left side, you will need the LH lock (Model NE RV LH). Hinged on the right side you will need the RH lock (Model NE RV RH). You just touch the lock pad to "awaken" it, and the number buttons light up. From there on you just "touch" the correct combination sequence of 4 numbers and touch the enter button. Its very easy to change the combination to your liking. If added security is needed you can use the key to also engage the handle lock just like the OEM locks work.

The OEM latch and lock. Takes about 3 minutes to remove.

Removal of the old lock showing cut out opening. The Bauer locks are made to fit the existing cut out in most all RV towables and TC doors.

New Bauer lock before installing. Very well built and packaged well.
