Instead of trying to type things out a couple times I am doing this trip report on my blog and will let you know here when I update it. Saves me retyping for my site and a couple others.

I think a blog takes advantage of RV.NET. Why not make the post in RV.NET and put a link on your blog to the Post?
I have mastered the copy and paste function, which minimizes the typing on multiple forums.
I have yet to see another forum that will accept and post the code from one forum to another. Sure, text is easy to cut and paste but throw in a bunch of links and pictures, you will spend hours retyping your same post to each forum you wish to share on.
Or you can simply write out your one blog trip report, then post and share the link on several forums.
I've never seen a blog link posted here on RV.net I didn't click on then come back to rv.net to make my comments.
The suggestion of making your trip report post here, then sharing this link on other sites directing traffic here is self serving. From rv.net's perspective I understand doing that but by the same logic, every forum could make the same demand. What if all the different forums adopt the same policy? Then there would be no exchange and we all would lose.
How do you feel about mellowmike and his excellent blog?
It's when demands like this are made that it just drives me nuts.
The member post contributions are the only reason people come here. RV.net itself contributes no content but they do provide the best forum for rv's on the web but again, that's the people here.
It just seems we should be working together to keep this site fun, informative, friendly, and relevant.
