Instead of trying to type things out a couple times I am doing this trip report on my blog and will let you know here when I update it. Saves me retyping for my site and a couple others.
Trip is a couple days exploring BC and mainly Vancouver Island. I cannot head home till Friday April 17th as I have to help my daughter move home from university so I need some way to pass a few days before I go back to Kamloops to load up her things :B
Trip Report
I think a blog takes advantage of RV.NET. Why not make the post in RV.NET and put a link on your blog to the Post?
I have mastered the copy and paste function, which minimizes the typing on multiple forums. I really question just how many RV.Net members will go to a link to read a blog. They come to RV.Net to read about RV stuff, otherwiose they can simply use Google. I guess maybe it depends why you would post on RV.Net, have discussions with other TC owners, or?
Personally, I think blogs have their place, but not to be a replacement for posting on any forum. Keep in mind the following:
"You may not use the Open Roads Forum to either advertise or promote commercial endeavors. This includes direct posts, member name, URLS in your profile or signature, as well as, active links to other sites on the Internet.
You may include URLs or active links to commercial sites for the purpose of expanding on comments or providing additional information as part of regular forum interactions."
