My one experience I got stuck in Baja .
I was lucky .
My best buddy and I both had new 4 x 4 2500 Silverados and my yellow tow strap .
If I were to attempt it again I would want 2 buddies with 4 x 4 3 /4 tons and 2 tow straps .
Apparently not all sand has the same properties .
