Beach Driving
Can someone give me some tips on beach driving? I have gotten pretty comfortable driving my TT over the past 4 years, and I would like to camp on one of a number of local beaches that provide access...

When applying for the permit they gave me a booklet that had many tips as well as a list for mandatory item to carry. Whenever we pulled up to the entrance of the beach the ranger on duty would ask us to produce certain items from the checklist.
I would check with the individual camping area for anything specific they require you to carry.
The brochure and the requirements haven't changed, they are on the county website here. I covered most of them in my post, except maybe the flashlight, but I figured everyone has a flashlight in their camper, right? Maybe I shouldn't assume LOL....
All of the beach campgrounds on LI are operated by Suffolk County.
