Bearing Buddies
I just Installed new hand packed wheel bearings. I was wondering if bearing Buddies would be a good idea?

Bearing buddies are a great product ,,,,, for boat trailers.
Boat trailer bearings have a special problem. When the bearings heat up on the way to the lake, they slowly push any air in the hub cavity out past the seal to equalize the inside and outside air pressure. At the lake, the trailer and bearings are submerged in cold water, instantly cooling the bearings and air cavity BELOW (in most cases) the ambient air temperture. This creates a vaccum inside the bearing cavity, which is under water.... So rather than sucking air past the seals, it will suck water past them.
The bearing buddy system pressurizes the bearing cavity, and reduces or eliminates air in it. Since it is under pressure, a water dunking will reduce the pressure, but not create a vaccum... Problem is solved.
TTs don't have this problem, and don't benefit from bearing buddies.
The EZ lube system mentioned is totally different.... It is NOT for boat trailers, but can be a benefit for TTs, which is what it is designed for.
