The temp. around the outer part of the drum was closer to the others, but went way up near the center. I didn't jot down anything so can't quote any numbers. Can't see it being brake related. The trailer is all set up on a site and don't really want to lift a wheel if I can avoid as we're out of here tomorrow. Braking has been excellent throughout the trip.
Our TT has been put on a LOT of roads with MANY high speed turns in the mountains so the bearings got a hard workout on this trip.
The reason I asked the dealer to look at the wheels originally was because I'm risk-averse and because of all the stories I've read about bearing failures and thought it would be a good idea just to see what they looked like. I never want to have a bearing failure, break failure or blowout when out on a trip, short or long distance.
The first TT we had (now on 3rd) also had blown seals under a year old and needed all 4 wheels totally rebuilt under warranty so I am gun-shy about this.
