Sorry, wasn't clear, I was asking if one could cut the BedRug around the pucks. I also shot the company an email and asked them.
Yes, you can cut holes in it, but I am certain that would void your warranty. You can also get "stuff" underneath the BedRug because of the holes.
I agree with another poster... if you have a 5er hitch, the spray in liner is your best bet.
True, if you cut holes in in, then you may want to pull it out every so often and clean it out.
I like it because you don't have to sand the original paint off for Line X and void the warranty, and then hope Line X's warranty will cover any corrosion or rust from a bad application. - buc1980ExplorerYou want a good one to don't worry then get Line X.

LineX has a nation wide warranty. We had in our 2001 for 14 years. Was good! Our 2015 has the factory RAM stray in, which is OK for the cost. If you have Pucks have the complete dummy plug and ring removed and taped off, then spray in the liner before reinstalling.
If at all possible I won't get a factory liner, at least not anytime soon. Reason being is I have not found any info regarding the manufacture giving a warranty any longer than the initial bumper to bumper, 3/36 (or what ever it may be). With a Line X it is a lifetime warranty... My local Line X dealer has said they have repaired more factory liners than they had the Line X since they first opened. Exaggerated, maybe, but only he knows...... Hopefully the manufactures will get the factory liner perfected....

Spray in is a great option. My only concerns might be the warranty on the liner. If you buy it yourself (at an elevated cost, I'm sure), you usually get a lifetime warranty from Line-X or Rhino Liner. If you buy it from the dealer, you will likely only get the 3 year standard warranty.
I have Line-X in my Tundra and had problems with it gouging and chipping off. I used it as a truck, so I threw gravel in there, firewood, logs, stone, etc. I had gouges and chunks missing from my liner. I would have gotten it fixed eventually, but ended up selling the truck.
For my Ram I bought the BedRug BedTred series. Looks like a spray in liner, but it is removeable, it is softer to protect cargo, still nice and durable and has a lifetime warranty.
For $375, you are getting a good deal. That is roughly what my BedTred cost me.
I have the fifth wheel pucks in my Ram. Wonder if one could cut the liner around where those pucks are ?
If you're pulling a fifth wheel I think the spray in liner is the only choice. Drop in liners are bad enough about trapping moisture and debris, but if you put holes in the middle of one you've really created a bad situation, imo. - Me_AgainExplorer III
