Beginning search for new(used) TV

I just went through what youre going through and it was terrible finding a tow vehicle. LOL finding the fifth wheel was easy. I ended up with a 2008 f350 extended cab drw and a v10. way cheaper than a diesel and it tows fine. I will admit it sucks the gas and if I was going to tow long distances I would look at a diesel and spend the money. I will be lucky to tow 3000 miles a year. we camp local with maybe one big trip a year. During my research I would say do not ever look at a 6.0. Maybe the 6.4 but remember a turbo will mean taking the cab off. If must be a diesel look at gm or ram. I don't say the 7.3 because at this point the trucks themselves are getting pretty old. Lots of stuff to go bad other than the block. I drove a couple and one had a bad tranny and the rest were rusty (im in ohio). good luck and be pt.
