Best blocking for stabilizer jacks

We use something like these. Light weight, stackable, and come in a carrying case. Our trailer sits high so we carry 2 cases. Sometimes as ramps under the wheels to level side to side and also for the stabilizer jacks.

I just carry 2X10 wood boards about 24-inches long... Found these at a camp site left by the previous camper I guess... Works great for my off-road POPUP. I lay these five boards in the floor of the 5x8 front deck on the Popup trailer when in travel mode.

I was always going to pick up some of those plastic ones in the bag but never got around to doing it...

I use the plastic lego type blocks. I use to use wood but kept burning them in the camp fire

This. I carry about 6 - 8 2"x8"x8"L. Easy to carry, don't take up very much space. I also have a couple of short pieces of 4"x4" just in case.

Currently with my slide in camper, I use the lego blocks under the tires, and 2x8 boards under the stabilizer legs...you can get several out of one full 2x8 and if it cracks, hey, you have more fire wood.

JMO - multiple wood stacks are way too heavy so I use light weight, stackable plastic blocks under the stabs, using whatever number under each stab as may be required by the level of the ground under each one.

I've used only wood. I've never used cinder blocks. You are right, they are way too heavy and bulky.

I always travel with a variety of lumber, enough for any occasion. When going to a new campground or even a new campsite in a familiar campground, you just never know what you are "really" going to get into.

Here's a good example of not knowing what to expect. If I would have used plastic Legos, they would have never stacked high enough. Nothing beats a solid chunk of wood. These blocks came out of a support beam from an old barn that was over 100 years old when I got the blocks. I've had these same blocks for at least 20 years now myself. Solid, don't rot, but yes, heavy! But the end result is a solid foundation under the camper. I give them a fresh coat of paint about ever 2 years or so.

Thanks for the tips y'all looks like it's a tie between wooden blocks or plastic ones maybe ill get a little of both for any situation. I appreciate the good advice as always! And plan on leaving the concrete blocks at home next time'
